Hotel Taiko - Myoko

Hotel Taiko is a clean and pleasant place to stay, with a breakfast that offers a huge variety of delightful meals. Its central location is perfect, just a short distance from the ski area and numerous restaurants, making it convenient for family dining. it's close to the Myoko Kogen station, adding to the overall convenience.

Quaint and clean place, magnificent view of all the mountains. Well-appointed rooms with great beds, an electric kettle, a personal safe, and air conditioning.

Loved my very pleasant stay for ski vacation in Myoko. The staff were very friendly and professional all the time of my stay. The breakfast was sensational, a huge variety of good food. It was in a comfortable and handy location near restaurants and bars. Besides, I was near a hill and a ski slope.

This hotel is a charming and affordable spot with a convenient location right next to the ski slopes and nearby bars, and the staff here are excellent and very attentive.

We appreciated the fact that we chose taiko. Lodge Hunter is located within 600 feet from the hotel.

The staff here were super helpful and really made us feel like family. Our room was just right, featuring a great bathroom, and the breakfast was pretty good too. 😊.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location was perfect, being so close to the Kumado area of the ski field and within walking distance of great restaurants. The hotel also provided a free shuttle service, making it even more convenient to get around. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask for including heating, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent room service and keeping our room clean. We also enjoyed the on-site hot spring bath, which was a great way to relax after a day of skiing.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

As a skier, it was ideal to have a hotel so close to the slopes. The location was perfect for me, as it was easy to get to great restaurants, and the hotel even had transportation options. The hotel was impressively clean, and its facilities, such as the hot water and tea corner, were much appreciated after a long day on the mountain. the staff were very helpful and friendly, and their buffet breakfast had an excellent selection of both traditional and western options.

The beds provided were comfortable and the onsen facility was enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful when approached for assistance. The location of the hotel was also convenient, as it was situated near good restaurants and not too far from the ski lift.

There were some negative aspects of my stay. Firstly, there was a lack of communication regarding taxes and fees. Secondly, the shuttle bus service was not available for transportation. These incidents may have been unusual, but they negatively affected my overall experience at the hotel.

The room had a traditional Japanese style and a nice view. the staff was friendly and accommodating. the location was convenient for my business meetings.

There was an unpleasant smell in one of the rooms due to a leaky toilet.
